We've called Portland our home since 1947, so it's no wonder we went into the umbrella business.
We have only two seasons here in PDX: summer and rain. No, really. We've seen 2700 inches of the stuff since we entered the weather scene 76 years ago. We're not mad, though. Who better to trust than an umbrella maker from Oregon?
If you've heard that Oregonians never use an umbrella...we're here to change that.
According to Henry Boyer of the FHSpost.com:
"The Oregonian found that 66% of Oregonians simply never use an umbrella. That figure rises to 70% if you only count people who have lived all or most of their lives here."
You know what we say? Challenge accepted. You can quote us on this: "SHED RAIN is making umbrellas in Oregon cool again."

We can't officially say that 2023 will end with a light-up umbrella sheltering the Portland reindeer, but we won't say it can't happen either.
